HAIMER is new official partner to Bundesliga Soccer Club FCA
FC Augsburg is pleased to present a new partner from the region in the form of the medium-sized company HAIMER GmbH. The family-owned company from Igenhausen near Augsburg, which is currently celebrating its 45th anniversary, will be the official partner of the Fuggerstädter for the next two years.
HAIMER develops, produces and sells innovative, high-precision products for metal cutting in a wide range of industries. In doing so, the daily activities of the approximately 800 employees are centered on the company philosophy "Quality wins".
In addition to the Augsburg Panthers, HAIMER will now also cooperate with FC Augsburg. On the one hand, the family-owned company relies on the emotional power of the match-day experience at FC Augsburg to maintain and expand its customer and contact network. On the other hand, HAIMER uses the pre-whistle video board during home games in the WWK ARENA to draw attention to HAIMER as a strong employer brand as well as a local global player and to further deepen and strengthen its brand position in Bavarian Swabia as well as beyond the region.
"With HAIMER, we were able to win over a strong and up-and-coming partner from the region. The lived values of the medium-sized family business fit perfectly with FC Augsburg. This was noticed directly from the first moment in the talks. That is why we are very much looking forward to working together and growing together," said FCA Managing Director Michael Ströll.
"As a global player with strong ties to our region, we have long supported local clubs, especially with a focus on youth sports and the promotion of young talent. We are delighted to sponsor FCA, a likeable Bundesliga club with exemplary youth work, and thus make an active contribution to strengthening the regional sports landscape," sums up Andreas Haimer, Managing Director of Haimer GmbH.
Simon Wortmann, Senior Director SPORTFIVE, adds: "HAIMER is pursuing two core objectives with the FCA partnership: Building an attractive customer loyalty tool to FCA's home games, especially for international corporate partners and customers, and presenting the company as an attractive employer brand in the emotionally charged environment of the Bundesliga. We are pleased that we were able to bring these goals together in an individual package design and are convinced that FCA's charisma will contribute significantly to achieving the objectives."
Tobias Völker, Director Global Marketing at HAIMER adds, "Twelve years in the Bundesliga and an ever-growing fan base make FCA the sporting flagship in all of Swabia. I'm pleased that our activities at FC Augsburg will provide us with a great opportunity to serve our customers and also increase HAIMER's brand awareness even further."
